From Lake Wolfgang to Lake Fuschl, Mondsee lake and Attersee lake – The Salzkammergut encompasses 76 lakes in all sizes and facets. The landscape surrounding the lakes is characterised by rivers and mountain ranges, such as the Dachstein. From the Almtal valley to the Ausseerland region – pure inspiration only.

And into the mountains I go to lose my mind and find my soul.
Salzkammergut - a natural beauty
Mountains, lakes, breathtaking views – It is that easy to describe the Salzkammergut. But still, the beauty and the overwhelming feeling stimulated by this unique realm of lakes in the foothills of the Austrian Alps are hard to express in words. Diverse, real, perceptible.

Nature as a source of inspiration

Lake Wolfgang - unique summer retreat
Crystal clear water, fresh mountain air and a scenic landscape – Once monarchs, artists and aristocrats spent their summer at Lake Wolgang, but also today this raw natural beauty is highly appreciated. From the Bergrose Hideaway it is only a 15 minutes’ walk to the lake.
Strobl am Wolfgangsee
Here, the scent of the forest, water and art are in the air. The village of Strobl will captivate you by its astonishing view of Lake Wolgang and thanks to its sunny location at the eastern shore it offers beautiful natural beaches and a relatively high water temperature.

Alpine pastures & Mountain idyll
Cosy alpine cabins, romantic mountain lakes, limitless freedom – The spectacular mountain landscape surrounding the Bergrose Hideaway is not only a magnificent scenery, but it also wants to be explored. The Schafberg and Zwölferhorn mountains as well as the Postalm mountain pasture are located in close proximity to our hotel.

Winter wonderland
Snow-covered landscapes, long winter walks, atmospheric Advent markets – during winter, the Salzkammergut presents itself from its gentle side. Experience magical moments full of clarity, authenticity, and down-to-earth-quality. Winter magic amidst mountains and lakes.
