Außen_Bergrose Hideaway

All I have is all I need and all I need is all I have in this moment.

Byron Katie

It’s as simple as that.

Holidays reduced to what really matters – nature, tranquillity, authenticity and awareness. Engaging with beautiful things, exciting people and unique flavours – that’s what the Bergrose Hideaway is all about. As simple as that may sound, this concept sometimes raises questions among our guests.

You didn’t ask, but we’ll tell you anyway in a nutshell:

Yes, we have different room categories. The twelve Hideaway rooms were designed by Viktoria – they are shiny and new, so to say. The 18 Home rooms are more down-to-earth – traditional and each with an individual touch, one could say.

No, we are not a typical classic or standard hotel, but a business with a lot of experience, a lot of new thoughts and many old traditions.

Yes, with us you can really relax and unwind.

No, our reception is not manned around the clock, sorry. At our family business we all have much more than just one job, so it can happen that we are busy doing something somewhere in the house. If you can’t find us, just call 06137/5431.

Yes, we are the ones who invented the SeeSushi.

No, our Hideaway is not located in the centre of Strobl, nor in the middle of all the hustle and bustle, but a little off the beaten track – where tranquillity abides.

Yes, we go to great lengths to be sustainable and mindful. You are welcome to help us protect nature by hanging the “Der Umwelt zuliebe” (for the sake of the environment) sign on your room door when daily cleaning of your room is not necessary.

No, we don’t offer everything at all times – sorry, we’re too small a family business for that – but you can discuss (almost) everything with us. So just ask and we’ll see what we can do for you.
